The June UUASC-OC meeting features a presentation by Marc Bir, Vice President of Engineering at GenieDB.

Marc will give us an overview of GenieDB, a MySQL plugin that provides automatic synchronization and healing optimized for high latency and bandwidth constrained connections. This enables master-less MySQL with local query performance in a globally distributed environment.
